I am a student at another college. Can I check out books from UAB Libraries?

Yes, you can check out books from UAB Libraries. In order to check out books, you must present a valid school ID or some other proof of affiliation such as a tuition statement or an official letter in order to obtain a Courtesy card. The Courtesy card will allow you to borrow a limited number of books.
Check in with the HUB desks at Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences (205-934-2230) or the Mervyn H. Sterne Library (205-934-4338) when you arrive at the library.
