Q. What is ILLiad? How does it work?

Answer

ILLiad is the system UAB Libraries uses for Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery requests. You can either go to ILLiad directly and fill out a request form, or you can access ILLiad in most of our databases if the article you need is not available in full-text.

For physical books, microforms, or audio-visual material, you will receive an e-mail when your item is ready to be picked up. For articles received electronically, you will get an e-mail when your article is available for viewing or download.
