Is there a privacy policy for chat and email questions sent to the libraries?

UAB Libraries respects the privacy of all library patrons. Chat and email questions may be submitted anonymously. Your name is not required to use either of these library services.
Chat and email questions may be added to a database of frequently asked questions (FAQs) that is accessible to library staff for training and evaluation purposes. Chat transcripts may be monitored for quality assurance.
Chat transcripts and e-mail questions will be archived and may be used for research and/or publication purposes.
